Busy Week for Online Casino & Sportsbook William Hill

World famous online casino and sportsbook William Hill has had a very busy, yet very lucrative week since August began. They were able to partner up with two major football (soccer) teams from Europe, Everton F.C., and Tottenham Hotspur F.C., who have entered into a contract that will be mutually beneficial. Not only that, but it seems that they are expanding their own online gambling services by having acquired the company Grand Parade.

Two-Year Deal with Everton F.C.

William Hill has signed a two-year deal with the Everton Football Club to become their official European betting partner for the English Premier League. This will allow the sportsbook to get promoted across all media avenues that the team uses, and in turn, the team will be promoted on their website and physical locations. As the Head of Commercial at the club, Alan McTavish stated,

“We are pleased to name one of the world’s leading betting and gaming companies, William Hill, as our new official betting partner and look forward to a successful association between both parties. Ahead of an exciting new season we look forward to working together with William Hill, a company that prides itself on innovation, history and heritage just like Everton, and developing a long-term partnership that covers the traditional betting and the emerging interactive markets.”

Another Partner in Tottenham Hotspur F.C.

The online gambling site didn’t stop there but continued and was able to sign a similar deal with the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in order to become their Official European and Australian Betting Partner. They will get even more coverage in Europe, but also get greater promotion in Australia. The club was also excited with the new partnership, as Head of Partnerships Fran Jones stated,

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with William Hill, one of the most established and recognised brands in its sector. As another Haringey-based business, we are committed to this area of north London and look forward to progressing our work through a joint community project run by our award-winning Foundation.”

With these two teams now on their roster, William Hill is set for the next two seasons with these top notch clubs.

Acquired Grand Parade to Help Expand

With a company as big as William Hill they will always be looking to improve themselves. Which is why they have just recently acquired Grand Parade, a company that specializes in sports betting and online gambling solutions. They purchased the company for $18 million (£13.6 million) and will be using their new asset to expand its development, fill gaps, and increase their own capabilities.

This first week of August seems to be the week William Hill took back control and will probably continue to make deals until the football season begins.
